Homefront Server Problems
Since Homefront’s recent release, the servers have doubled to handle all of its online users. It doesn’t seem like it has actually helped… Here is a statement from Kaos Studios:
Homefront has sold faster than we expected (which we are thrilled about) and more users are spending more time trying to access multiplayer (which we are also thrilled about). The thing we are not thrilled about is the fact that some gamers are currently having to wait for a match, for which we can only apologise.
Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to cope with the extraordinary demand for servers, and thank you for your continued patience and support.
It is recommended for players having connection problems to try the “Skirmish” game mode as it has a player limit of 16 and doesn’t run on the dedicated servers.
Kaos say they are working on a patch to fix issues in the game and that there are very few Xbox 360 users that cannot connect to their servers at all. If you are one of those people, you may email support@thq.com and give full details of your problem.
